Wednesday 7th March
Emotional farewell in Mexico - Adios Amiga's!! xxx

Today was a very emotional day, it was David and Donna's last day at work. Our manager Clyde sang a little goodbye song in our morning meeting. I couldnt make eye contact with either of them otherwise I would have cried! After work me, Di and Jenna met up with our friends to 'drink around world'. We all got together in Mexico with margarita's to watch the band sing a goodbye song to our Mexican friends Nora, Ana and Ingrid. They played violins and some children handed them flowers. It was so sad - I started crying in the middle of the Mexican pavillion! This was exact moment our French friend Stefan (bottom left) decided to take a photo of all of us!
Afterwards Silje met up with us -she is our Norweigian friend who also leaves next week. By this point I'd stopped crying and we headed towards the UK pavillion where most of them went into the pub for shots and half yards of beer. We made it round the worldshowcase back to Mexico in time to watch the fireworks. All the girls who were leaving were in tears watching them for the last time!
When we got back to the commonswe had to go to David and Donnas throw out - so I had to say a final goodbye to them aswell. Woah - what an emotional day! Because we are thousands of miles away from home, away from family and friends - you become very close to people here, and it is so hard when you have to say goodbye. Especially when some of them live half way around the world and you don't know if you will ever see them again. :(

Tuesday 6th March
A small group of us have become regulars at the good ol' Ale House! Its a local which lets ladies drink for free - yes FREE!! until 1am! Guys can buy a pitcher of beer for about £3. So we usually go about 11pm - make the most of the free/cheap alcohol, eat nachos and fajitis and play drinking games. The whole night including taxi journey usually costs us about £5 each! Result! Tonight was the last Ale House night for two of our friends -Donna and David - who are both lovely and am sooo sad to see them leave.

Monday 5th March

Tonight we all went to Parliament House - a gay club in downtown Orlando- for David's leaving do. They had a gay strip show first which was so funny! Afterwards we all took over the stage and danced non-stop for about 3 hours to cheesy music! Was one of the best nights I've had out for ages! Has soooooo much fun but don't want David to leave. :(

Sunday 4th March
Today a few of us from the UK and Canadian pavillion teamed up for a bowlathon! It was an event where cast members from all over Epcot played to raise money for a children charity. Each team had to have a theme - we were 'The Internationals'. The night before me, Di and Erin from Canada went around the Worldshowcase buying hats from each country. I was Mexico and had to wear an emormous pink hat and a mexican flag on my back! haha! A couple of my Mexican friends were pplaying in a team a few lanes down. They cheered when they saw my outfit and I had a photo taken with them! (centre pic). Our manager John played in our team (top middle pic). And just in case you wondered..... I came last! hehe!

'The Internationals!' ready to Bowl! p

Miami!
Di, Jenna and I took a wee trip down to Miami for the weekend to see Justin Timberlake in concert. The supports acts were Pink and Timberland - it was amazing! We werent allowed to take pictures inside the arena so here we are outside with our tickets. Ross and his girlfriend Fiona were also there for the concert, so we all had dinner and a few cocktails on the last night. PS: Happy Birthday Uncle John!

Monday 19th February
Tonight all the UK peeps went to UK lasses/lads and then coconut willies - which is a British pub in Orlando. It was fancy dress - so I was a cowgirl. It was the last monday night for a few people so there were a few tears. Me and Di went back to the Commons, to a Mexican party. Antonio and Jorge spent the night trying to teach us how to salsa dance! lol! (Bottom right 2 pics) Posted by Picasa

Friday 16th February
Well I thought it was about time I updated my blog! We have a new roomate finally... her name is Ayanda from South Africa; she works in the resturant at Animal Kingdom. Hayley has brought a car. And the weather has turned freezing cold!! (Here's Hayley and Wakana enjoying the beautiful Florida weather!)
Works going well. We have had some new arrivals. There are so many of us now so we have more time to 'make magic'. So I've spent a lot of time doing knighting ceremonies, fun police, playing boards games with children. Which i love doing! Posted by Picasa
